Runningmeasures

From ten seconds of side-view video, Runify Motion reads seven measures of your running form, from foot to head. Each one has its own page: how the app calculates it, how to read the number and what it can mean.

Pick a measure,
watch the step

Each measure is read at a precise moment of the step. Tap one: the frame jumps there and the part the app looks at lights up.

Initial contact: the shin as the foot touches down

Reliable

Overstriding

Where your foot lands relative to your body

Overstriding is when your foot touches down well ahead of your body. Runify Motion measures it from the angle of your shin at the moment of contact, for every foot contact in your video and for each foot.

Reliable measure: it has a score and, when it helps, something to try.

Three ways
to read them

Reliable

Reliable measure: it has a score and, when it helps, something to try.

Approximate

Approximate measure: it has a score, but the app reads it with caution and doesn’t suggest exercises.

Descriptive

Descriptive measure: the app gives you the value and explains it, with no score and no verdict.
