Hi,
I’m Stick.

I show you how exercises are done and how your stride has changed. My body is drawn, my movement isn’t: behind every move I make there’s a real person.

I move like a real person.

Where I come from

How a move
of mine is born

I didn’t invent anything: I learned every move I make from a real person, while they were doing it.

  1. 01A real person

Someone does the exercise. All that’s left of them is a few moving dots.

  2. 02A drawing

The dots join up: it’s already the move, still without a body.

  3. 03Me

I add my body of sticks. The move stays theirs.

In the exercises

He shows you
how it’s done

In orange, the parts the exercise works: you see them move while Stick does it. Pick one.

Like the A-skip, then I extend my leg and bring it down, pawing the ground.

  • hip flexors
  • hamstrings
  • calf

In the analyses

He doubles up
for you

When you compare two analyses, Stick runs twice: in orange how you used to run, in cyan how you run now. He pauses for a moment when the foot touches down, so you see where it lands.

The stride he runs is yours: the one from your video, redone by him.

Honestly

What I can do,
what I can’t

I can

  • Do the catalog exercises, in slow motion too.
  • Redo your stride, taken from your video.
  • Show you in orange where you’re working.
  • Pause when the foot touches down, so you can look.

I can’t

  • Run for you.
  • Know if you’re in pain: before suggesting anything, I ask.
  • Judge: I look at the movement, never at the body.
  • Take your video anywhere: it stays on your phone.

With you

From your first run
to your first exercise

Stick doesn’t explain the app: he shows you things, and only speaks when it helps.

  1. You set up the video

«Put the phone at the height of my pelvis: I run, you watch.»

  2. You wait for the result

«While I look at your steps, I run too. A few seconds and I’m done.»

  3. You haven’t run yet

«Nothing here yet. Ten seconds of running and we’re off.»

  4. There’s something to try

«Let me show you this one: watch where I light up.»
